What is an
empty leg?
When an aircraft needs to reposition before or after another flight, that one-way journey may be offered for charter. The route and departure window are usually set around the operator’s schedule.

to know.
Is an empty leg a confirmed booking?+
No. A published opportunity or request does not hold an aircraft. The operator must confirm availability and the final price, and the relevant contracts and terms must be completed before a booking is confirmed.
What if the aircraft’s schedule changes?+
An empty leg depends on the operator’s wider itinerary and can change or be cancelled. We will discuss the particular cancellation, refund and alternative-travel terms before you commit. An alternative flight is not guaranteed.
Can I choose a different route or return flight?+
Changes need a fresh operator quote. Empty legs are one-way opportunities; return travel is separate. If your timing or route is fixed, a standard charter request may fit your plans better.
Who operates the flight?+
Wings and Wheels LLC is an air charter broker. We do not operate aircraft or exercise operational control. Any arranged flight is performed by an appropriately authorized direct air carrier.
